How to use the Alt Text Generator

The Alt Text Generator creates accessible alternative texts for images that are read aloud by screen readers.

Instructions

  1. Upload image: Click on the upload area or drag and drop an image into it (PNG, JPG, GIF up to 10 MB)

  2. Automatic verification: The system checks if the image contains personal information. If detected, you'll receive a warning.

  3. Generate alt text: After successful verification, an accessible alt text in English is automatically generated (follows WCAG guidelines, max. 125 characters).

  4. Copy: Click on the copy icon to copy the text to your clipboard.

Important Notes

  • Privacy: Uploaded images are not stored
  • Personal information: Please do not upload images with faces or identifying features
  • Manual review: Please review the generated alt text and adjust it if necessary
